Joseph sent me a belated Mother's Day gift in the form of a handwritten letter telling me his favorite stories of what has happened in the MTC thus far. Accompanying the letter was a stack of pictures. SWEEEEET!!! He has sounded so happy in his emails but now I could actually see how happy he is. So we thought you might enjoy seeing for yourself. What a great kid...okay, I'm biased...but it's true:)
Pointing out on the MTC Map where he is headed...the Czech Republic!!
Joseph with his companions Elder Heath on your left and Elder Smith.
They call themselves the TRIFORCE!!
The Czech District...this is the group of elders and sisters who
are learning Czech and will travel together on July 5th when they will arrive
in the Czech Republic and have a chance to put the language skills to the test.
From left to right
Elders Russell Smith, Joseph Mullen, Joseph Heath, Matthew Medonich, Lance Gabrielson, Taylor Story, Nathan Spencer and Cameron Salas
Sisters Emily Bean, Mary White and Lucy Brimhall
Elder Mullen and Elder Salas...they have become "running" mates.
Joseph has found he actually likes running for exercise and is up to five miles a day...
Go Joseph!!
Joseph's quote on this picture
"My glorious name tag- so cool"
Elder Mullen's long arms welcome us to his classroom,
where he spends a majority of his day, six days a week!!
So there you have it. He looks extremely happy. The Lord continues to watch over him and we pray that will never change. God speed Elder Mullen, God speed!!
